Making sure your metadata is up to date and correct is really important. That is why you have the possibility to do this directly in the Publisher Portal. To update metadata do as follow:

1. Log in to the Publisher Portal.

2. On the sidebar to the left click on the third icon from the top, “Catalog”, and choose “My Catalog”.

3. Search for your book in the search bar (title name or ISBN) and click on the title name shown in the catalog list to be taken to the book's details page.

4. On the right hand side click on “edit book” to start editing the metadata.

You can now enter new data in the fields that now are available, for example contributor names, thema codes and description of the title. You can also change the release dates for upcoming titles. When done, click on “Send for review”.

Who can edit book metadata

Only users that have the “Edit access” user right will be able to change book metadata. Contact your user admin to get this user right.

Can’t find the “edit book” button?

This might be because you don’t have the access rights to edit the metadata on your user account. To be able to edit metadata you need to have “edit access”; Please contact the user admin for your organization to get help with applying the correct access rights for your account.

Update not showing on Storytel

It is possible your update still might be processing. Some metadata values update right away while some of them need more time to process. Reach out to the Publisher Portal support team at publisher.support@storytel.com if you need help.
